Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
By accessing or using RUVO's platform — including our website at ruvo.ng and any related mobile interfaces — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These terms apply to all users, including individuals booking shipments and courier partners listed on the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a legally binding agreement under Nigerian law to use RUVO. By using our platform, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.
RUVO is a logistics aggregator. We connect you with independent courier partners. When you book a shipment through RUVO:
- You select a courier, destination, and service type.
- You provide accurate sender and recipient details.
- You pay in full at the time of booking.
- A booking confirmation and order code are sent to you.
- The courier partner is responsible for physical collection and delivery.
RUVO acts as an intermediary and does not physically handle your packages. The service contract for delivery is between you and the selected courier partner.
All payments are processed securely via Paystack in Nigerian Naira (₦). By completing a payment, you authorise the charge to your selected payment method.
Prices shown include RUVO's service fee. Additional charges such as customs duties, import taxes, or surcharges imposed by destination countries are the sole responsibility of the sender or recipient.
You may not ship the following items through RUVO under any circumstances:
- Cash, currency, or bearer instruments
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Firearms, ammunition, or weapons of any kind
- Explosives or flammable materials
- Perishable food items without proper packaging
- Live animals
- Counterfeit or pirated goods
- Any item prohibited by Nigerian law or the laws of the destination country
RUVO reserves the right to cancel any booking where prohibited items are suspected, without refund.
RUVO's liability is limited to the service fee paid for a specific booking. We are not liable for:
- Loss or damage caused by the courier partner
- Delays due to customs clearance or weather events
- Incorrect address details provided by the user
- Items prohibited or restricted at the destination
- Indirect or consequential losses of any kind
Claims for lost or damaged items must be directed to the relevant courier partner. RUVO will assist in facilitating communication where possible.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Any activity carried out under your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately at hello@ruvo.ng if you suspect unauthorised access.
Cancellations requested before a courier has been dispatched for pickup may be eligible for a refund. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from the use of RUVO's services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of RUVO after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will always display the date of the last update at the top of this page.
